Dave Griffiths
Dave has 30 years experience in professional journalism and writing instruction. His report writing segment is a key component of the Institute’s week long training program. The reports students generate are the result of an assessment conducted to identify exposures and controls, then communicating this information in a manner understandable to decision makers who may not have the technical expertise.
Dave’s approach to written communication is succinct, to the point and treats the reader with respect. His approach to “understanding your audience” allows the writer to focus on what is necessary and avoid flowery, excessive technical and unnecessary editorial comment. Dave’s contribution to the training program is pivotal in helping students “pull it all together”.
